Some piecing, some quilting

Trying to clear the decks somewhat.  I made this geranium wallhanging last year, but never got around to quilting and binding it.  I finally got up the nerve!

And here is a perspective that shows a little more of the quilting.

And this is a table topper using the scrappy trip around the world method.  I used some "30's" prints that were gathering dust along with a white strip to liven it up a bit.

I used a meandering zig zag stitch which made the quilting a breeze!  This was definitely a "something from nothing" project-- and was finished the day after I started it  : )

Retreat projects and beyond

Some of the projects I was working on last week--

Cheri and I put together this beautiful quilt from Cheri's jelly roll.  Some lucky little person will love this quilt!

This is a pattern found on the AQS website called Little House of Geese by Gail Garber.  Lots of fun to make!

Another pattern found on the AQS website called Crazy Courthouse Steps.

Here are some scrappy trips around the world, some from me, some by Linda.

And finally, here is a Project Linus quilt from a kit handed out at guild-- my first from-a-kit top that I made for Project Linus (completely from fabric handed out rather than from my own fabric).  It was fun to play with the fabrics. (Thank you Linda and Margaret for help in placement) And looks much better in person!
